In the video tutorials the teachers say – now click on the “Rectangle tool” button and select the “Rounded Rectangle Tool”. You pause the lesson, go back to your Adobe Illustrator interface and click on this button, and the “Rounded Rectangle Tool” is not visible.
You return to the video lesson, look at the teacher’s interface, and return to your AI to find this button. Click the “Rectangle tool” button again, but there is still no “Rounded Rectangle Tool” button.
The fact is that the developers decided for you that you need a simplified Illustrator interface and many buttons and checkboxes are not available to you.
In general, go to Illustrator, look for the ellipsis at the bottom left, then click, an additional panel will appear, click on the menu at the top (three dots and three stripes) and select the Advanced instead of Basic.
